Hi, I’m Tom Chapman, and I’m here to help your teen find their one-of-a-kind career path. With over 15 years of experience guiding young adults through the maze of career choices, I specialize in empowering quirky, multi-talented students to discover futures that truly fit them. My approach? It’s not about conforming to conventional norms but embracing what makes each person unique.

As a former teacher with a state-wide reputation for excellence, I understand firsthand the challenges of feeling like you don’t quite fit the mold. I spent years following a path that seemed right on paper but didn’t align with who I truly was. It wasn’t until I embarked on my own journey of self-discovery that I realized the importance of making choices that honor one’s authentic self.

That’s the clarity I bring to my coaching. I help teens and young adults uncover their unique strengths, values, and passions, guiding them toward career paths where they can truly thrive. I’ve helped countless clients move from feeling overwhelmed by choices to confidently pursuing a future they’re excited about.

My coaching is rooted in understanding core strengths and values, using proven tools like the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Enneagram, and Co-Active Coaching Models. What sets my coaching apart is the transformation that happens when young people connect with their inner selves. I’ve seen students go from feeling lost in a sea of options to finding their North Star – a career path that matches their unique strengths and passions. My joy comes from witnessing these moments of clarity, where confusion turns into confidence and uncertainty into a clear direction.
My Story
Ever since the first grade, I knew I would be involved in education. I loved learning and being around others, but it wasn't until my sophomore year at the UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival that I felt the spark of a life purpose. Surrounded by friends in a state-renowned high school jazz band, I thought, “I want to do this for the rest of my life.” Music became my thing, and I pursued a path to become a band teacher.

However, after years of teaching, I realized something was off. Despite success and recognition, I never quite felt like I belonged. My passion was in helping others find their unique path – not just in music, but in life. I realized that my true gift was connecting with students and colleagues, helping them discover their values, strengths, and goals. That’s when it hit me: my calling wasn’t just to teach music but to coach others toward a fulfilling life aligned with who they truly are.
And so, I became a Life Vision Coach. I’m here to help your teen navigate their path, embrace their quirks, and find a career that excites them. Let’s create a journey that feels just right.
